About the Role
Foundations Counseling Center will employ a mental healthcare provider who is licensed to practice in the state of Alabama under supervision as a full time, junior staff therapist to increase the scope and quality of services rendered by Foundations Counseling.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral health assessments and develop treatment plans for clients
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions
- Maintain a caseload of 25 clients at minimum and deliver 20-25 billable services per week (once sufficient time to build a caseload has passed)
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
- Stay current with industry standards and best practices in therapy techniques and interventions
- Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques when working with clients

Our office is open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. These hours are our typical client hours, but after hours availability and weekend availability is open to providers who prefer those times.

Requirements
Master's degree in Counseling, Social work, or related field from an accredited program.
Valid license in the state of Alabama to practice as a therapist (e.g., ALC, LMSW, etc. )
Experience working with children is preferred
Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and documentation requirements
Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
Proficiency in psychotherapy techniques and interventions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
