Mental Health Awareness Month 2024
How We Serve
Individual therapy is a means through which you can develop healthy ways to deal with problems and learn to live the life you envision for yourself.
Reuniting families is a process that we are honored to participate in. We offer quality services to families who seek reunification, placing the utmost importance on the dignity and security of our clients in our non-custodial supervised visitations.
For new therapists, breaking into the industry of mental healthcare can be daunting. At Foundations, we offer affordable and quality supervision for licensed social workers in pursuit of a clinical license with our therapist Jill Gernert.
Family therapy therapy is a broad category of services that could include marriage counseling, parenting work, or therapy for the purpose of rebuilding damaged familial relationships.
Reducing barriers to entry for mental healthcare is a driving goal of Foundations as an organization. We offer teletherapy individual, family, and group sessions to all of our clients through our secure and convenient in-house software. Whether you live away from our primary location, travel frequently, or are unable to attend regular sessions, we can still serve you.
Group therapy is a proven method to increase the accessibility of therapeutic services to more people. Moreover, group sessions help our clients build community with others who share their struggles.
Oftentimes, work can take a toll on mental health. At Foundations, we support efforts that employers make to ensure that their employees maintain a high quality of life. Our employer assistance program is all about helping companies take care of the people who make our world go around. Partner with our team of licensed therapists to ensure your team stays happy, healthy, and focused for the job at hand.

Integrating creativity into healing is my passion. My goal as a therapist is to cultivate a safe space where you feel comfortable bringing your own passions and interests into the session. In therapy, I'll help you to heal from your hurts and meet your goals holistically.

Empowering clients to overcome their struggles and assist them in finding the tools that work for them in their journey is my passion. I believe in creating a safe, welcoming space for clients to process their emotions and begin to work through and heal from their pain. Born and raised in Athens, I am excited to give back to my hometown by serving my clients to the best of my ability!

The most important factor in therapy is the therapeutic relationship. This relationship is built on trust, which takes time. My job is not to give advice, but to help you to be attentive to what is already inside you and to encourage you to move in that direction. I can teach helpful interventions along the way, but ultimately, determining and meeting treatment goals is up to you.
